January 2021: Life Updates and Books
Here’s what’s there for me when I take a look back at January 2021.

I spent about 3 months of COVID living with a long-term relationship in its painful final stages. I spent the following 8 months, including January, living with my parents, staying in my childhood room, spending some nights staring at the rising marks with rising dates next to them on my closet door which mark out exactly how much I grew and when. Every day during this time I have rolled out of bed and sat in a chair next to my bed and worked on my laptop, then when that wrapped up I got back in bed to listen to audio books and play video games until I fell asleep. I left the room to go to the kitchen and the bathroom, I left the house for nightly jogs and weekly trips to the grocery store and for monthly visits to my lab to sign timesheets.
